Phobias & Addictions

Releasing yourself from the shackles of fear and addiction!

Phobias

Within our lifetime we can be exposed to trauma and shock. And if this experience  is threatening enough, it can cause a deep and lasting memory, which when triggered, puts us right back into the the same experience of fear that we felt at the time of the trauma.

Most people avoid putting themselves into a situation that will trigger the memory i.e. they avoid lifts, tunnels and underground transport if their problem is claustrophobia. But avoiding the issue becomes aggravating and can make life difficult, you find yourself missing out on opportunities, and life!

The Energy Zone ~ Addiction and Phobia therapies

Using Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) techniques, and a remote form of visualization, we work together to re-programme your perception of the memory, until you feel completely comfortable with the memory. At no time are you exposed to anything that triggers the fear, and only when you are comfortable with each stage do I allow you to move forward to the next stage of the process.  This process is quick and easy and at the end of the treatment you will feel uplifted and as if a weight has been removed from your life.

If you have a phobia it is really worth considering having it removed because your whole life can change for the better when you are no longer held back by fear.  You only need to find the courage to come along and talk to me!

Here are a list of common phobias that can be removed with my treatments. If your phobia is not listed here please phone me and discuss it with me, most phobias are treatable.

  • Spiders
  • Snakes
  • Mice
  • Agoraphobia
  • Claustrophobia
  • Being in water
  • Heights
  • Driving
  • Public speaking

  • Knives
  • Darkness
  • Being on your own

Prices range from £65 per treatment (one and a half hour session)

I was terrified of spiders. When my husband was on a night shift (he is a fireman), I used to have to wake the neighbours in the night to come and get rid of a spider. It’s great now because I can remove them myself   ~ Sarah from Chichester

Several years ago I had a procedure in hospital that left me with a fear of confined spaces and dying. I was terrified that I would wake up in my coffin and begin to suffocate. This also gave me a fear of being in a plane, so travel was restricted. I couldn’t travel in the back of a 2 door car as escape was restricted. One session of NLP with Kay cured me completely.  I flew to Mexico recently, and was very comfortable flying, and surprisingly, I visited some caves that were 500 feet below ground and I felt completely ok.

I didn’t believe I could be cured in only one session, however I soon found out that ‘the world is my oyster’ now!!  Amazingly just as a bonus, I have given up smoking very easily too. I must be relaxed!  ~  Joy from Laindon.

Addictions

Using Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) combined with Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT). It is possible to eliminate or dramatically reduce an addiction. It is necessary for you to really want to lose your addiction, there comes a time in your life when you no longer want to feel controlled by a certain way of life,  a behaviour pattern or a type of food or drink,  and this is the time to take action.

Freedom from addiction means you have set yourself free for life!

Here are some examples of addictions that I can help you with:-

  • Chocolate
  • Smoking
  • Alcohol
  • Food
  • Habitual behaviour

Prices range from £65 per treatment (one and a half hour session)

I have been an alcoholic for many years, I gave up a few years ago, but pressures of life built up and I returned to heavy drinking again. Last year I had NLP and Hypnosis with Kay, (and medication from the doctor for help with withdrawal symptoms) and on New Years Eve of 2007 I drove for the first time in 4 years. I have now returned to running my family business, we are moving house (something I wanted to do for a while) and we have just returned from a cruise. I have all the enthusiasm and energy for life that I used to have years ago. Once you have completely made up your mind to give it up and get the right help you get your life back! ~ Roy – Heybridge.

My problem was controlling my desire for wine.  I work from home, and once I finished for the day and started to cook dinner, I automatically reached for a glass of wine and more followed. I can now stop at one glass, and sometimes if I am out with my girlfriends I allow myself to have a few more. I feel I am in control of it now, and I actually enjoy drinking it, instead of just drinking to get the ‘effect’.  ~ Suzanne – Chelmsford.

I used to hide chocolate in different places in the house, so I could eat it later in the evening. I don’t bother to do this now, if I want some chocolate I eat a small amount and enjoy it, but on the whole I don’t even think about it.   Claire ~ Kent.
